Everyone knows the house always wins. But nobody's ever been able to prove it with real data โ until now.
We built a system that scans Ethereum for wallets depositing into major crypto casinos โ Stake, Bitcasino, Rollbit, Duelbits, Shuffle, and 7 others. Then we traced each depositor's full transaction history to calculate their total deposits, total withdrawals, and net profit or loss.
The results are brutal.
Not a single wallet โ out of 100 tracked โ has withdrawn more than they deposited. Zero. The best anyone did was get back a fraction of what they put in.
The Biggest Losers
These are real Ethereum wallets. Every number is verifiable on Etherscan.
| # | Wallet | Deposited | Withdrawn | Net P&L | Casino |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 0xc3ec...3ecb | $15,519,995 | $14,962 | -$15,505,033 | Stake, Rollbit |
| 2 | 0x55fc...95b0 | $11,751,853 | $0 | -$11,751,853 | Bitcasino |
| 3 | 0x9134...1f49 | $11,585,957 | $0 | -$11,585,957 | Bitcasino |
| 4 | 0x3d9a...0675 | $8,830,132 | $0 | -$8,830,132 | Stake |
| 5 | 0x3d03...d6f0 | $7,174,721 | $9,864 | -$7,164,857 | Stake, Roobet |
The number one loser deposited $15.5 million across Stake and Rollbit. They got back $14,962. That's a return rate of 0.096%.
Wallet #2 and #3 each sent over $11 million to Bitcasino with zero withdrawals. Not a single wei came back.
๐ Combined: the top 5 losers deposited $54.8 million and got back $24,826.
That's a 99.95% loss rate. Every transaction is on the Ethereum blockchain, permanently and publicly verifiable.
How Much Each Casino Kept
We aggregated deposits and withdrawals per casino across all 100 tracked wallets. This shows how much money flowed into each casino versus how much came back to the gamblers.
| Casino | Total Deposited | Total Withdrawn | Retention | Unique Depositors |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ๐ ฑ๏ธ Bitcasino | $50,464,219 | $520 | ~100% | 40 |
| ๐ข Stake | $45,195,033 | $150,050 | 99.7% | 28 |
| 5๏ธโฃ 500 Casino | $4,792,652 | $0 | 100% | 9 |
| ๐ฒ Rollbit | $3,019,504 | $851,981 | 71.8% | 11 |
| โ๏ธ Duelbits | $2,852,005 | $812 | ~100% | 10 |
| ๐ฅ BetFury | $2,830,520 | $904 | ~100% | 6 |
| ๐ Shuffle | $887,925 | $4,710 | 99.5% | 5 |
| ๐ฏ Gamdom | $796,297 | $13,690 | 98.3% | 7 |
| ๐ง๏ธ Rainbet | $646,236 | $284 | ~100% | 4 |
| ๐ฎ CSGO500 | $189,040 | $3,004 | 98.4% | 2 |
Bitcasino leads with $50.4 million in deposits and just $520 returned. Stake is second with $45.2 million in and $150K out.
Rollbit is the "best" of the bunch with a 71.8% retention rate โ meaning gamblers got back about 28 cents for every dollar deposited. That's still a devastating loss, but noticeably better than the others.
Important Caveats
โ ๏ธ Why the real numbers might be different
Before you share this article screaming "casinos keep 99% of deposits!", here's what our methodology doesn't capture:
- Unlabeled withdrawal wallets. Casinos often use different hot wallets for payouts than for deposits. If we don't have their withdrawal wallet addresses, those payouts won't show up in our data. This likely explains why some casinos show near-100% retention.
- Token withdrawals. We're primarily tracking native ETH transfers. Withdrawals in USDT, USDC, or other ERC-20 tokens would be missed in this analysis.
- Multi-chain withdrawals. A user might deposit on Ethereum but withdraw on BSC, Polygon, or Tron. We're only tracking Ethereum here.
- Sample bias. We're looking at wallets from the last 200 transactions per casino. This skews toward recent, active depositors who may not have withdrawn yet.
That said โ even if withdrawals are 5-10x higher than what we captured, the data still paints a grim picture for gamblers. And the deposits are accurate: those transactions are on-chain, immutable, and verifiable.
What the Data Actually Tells Us
The raw numbers are extreme, but the directional truth is clear:
1. Most gamblers never withdraw. Whether it's because they lose everything, chase losses, or abandon wallets โ the overwhelming pattern is money flowing in one direction: into the casino.
2. Whales lose the most. The top 10 losers account for $76 million in deposits. These aren't casual players. They're high-rollers burning through millions, often across multiple casinos.
3. The house edge is real and compounding. Even if a casino's theoretical house edge is 1-5%, the effective loss rate is much higher because players keep gambling until they lose. A 2% edge per bet becomes a 100% loss if you play long enough.
4. Crypto makes it frictionless. No bank holds, no cooling-off periods, no wife seeing the credit card statement. Depositing 100 ETH ($200K+) takes 30 seconds. That's a feature for the casino, not the player.
"The casino doesn't beat the player. It just gives him the opportunity to beat himself."

What's Next
We're expanding this analysis to include:
- ERC-20 token transfers (USDT, USDC withdrawals)
- Multi-chain tracking (BSC, Polygon, Arbitrum, Solana)
- More casino wallets (currently tracking 12 casinos, targeting 20+)
- Historical trends (are losses getting worse over time?)
- Win rate analysis (what % of gamblers ever have a profitable session?)
